I'm a student of the horology high school of Le Locle in Switzerland. I saw your nice internet site about your village, Peest, and i wonder if maybe you can help me find some informations about a watch that I'm currently restoring.

 

The watch comes from the International Museum of Horology in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.

 

It's a small pocket watch signed "Jacob Kölbel à Peest" on the dial and on the movement.

 

I wonder if maybe you have some archives about Jacob Kölbel or some reports of watchmaking activities in Peest, or even somebody I could contact for my researchs.
